Aaron Goodvin

It’s no small thing when a notorious straight shooter like Aaron Goodvin says, without exaggeration, that his current EP,LuckyStars, contains”the best stuff I have come up with since...ever.I write a lot of songs. A LOT of songs. And these are my best seven."The EP has already produced Goodvin’s second career number one with "Boy Like Me” and the Top 10-charting title track, "Lucky Stars," with more singles to come.

The Alberta-bred, Nashville-based country music star’s previous two albums have, in no particular order, topped the charts, produced a number one single and several top 10s, and scored multiple CCMA and JUNO Award wins and nominations- notably winning 2018 CCMA Song writer of theYear.

Oh yes, and yielded the bonafide anthem “Lonely Drum, a Double Platinum, global juggernaut that continues to pull ecstatic fans into its orbit, including radio host BobbyBones, who championed the track on his internationally syndicated show.

And now, there’s the exhilarating Lucky Stars. Co-produced by Grammy Award-nominated Matt McClure with Goodvin, alongside an esteemed line up of collaborators, the new EP is that rarest of things: familiar yet completely new. And very, very ambitious.

Tyler Joe Miller

Signed to MDM Recordings Inc. in 2019, Surrey, BC’s Tyler Joe Miller quickly made a name for himself in Canadian country music. After releasing his Gold Certified debut single, ‘Pillow Talkin’’ at the end of 2019, the catchy tune quickly earned him the title of iHeartRadio Future Star and became his first #1 single at Canadian country radio. An unprecedented and record-breaking climb followed with single ‘I Would Be Over Me Too’, steadily rising on the charts and earning Miller the distinction as the first independent Canadian country artist to reach #1 at radio with their first two singles. His debut EP Sometimes I Don’t, But Sometimes I Do included the singles ‘Fighting’ and ‘Sometimes I Do’, reaching the Top 10 and Top 5 respectively at radio. These tracks, along with the lead single off his sophomore project ‘Wild as Her’ have been collectively streamed over 33 million times to date. In 2021 Miller was named SiriusXM’s Top of the Country winner in addition to receiving four CCMA Award nominations (“Rising Star”, “Male Artist Of The Year”, “Album Of The Year” and “Fan’s Choice”) going on to then be nominated for “Fan’s Choice” and “Male Artist of the Year” the following year. Continuing with this momentum throughout 2022, Miller released “Never Met a Beer”, a collaboration with fellow rising country star Matt Lang which marked his SIXTH consecutive Top 10 single at Canadian country radio. Miller continues to share new music with growing fans across prominent stages including upcoming stops at the 2023 Boots and Hearts Music Festival and LASSO Montreal and is set to release a special acoustic EP, The Band’s Packed Up, in May 2023, showcasing his evolved songwriting and vocals in a stripped back capacity.

Bobby Wills

An acclaimed musician with a reputation for writing from the heart, CCMA Award winning artist Bobby Wills (MDM Recordings Inc. / Universal Music Canada) is best known for two things – his signature cowboy hat and a diverse musical personality, combining a classic country sound with a toe-tapping, dynamic twist. His latest album, “In Comes The Night” is the 5th release in Wills’ vast discography and features singles “Get While The Gettin’s Good” and the romantic title-track “In Comes The Night”. The deluxe edition of the EP (released February 23, 2018) also features two new variations of the song “Out Of Your Mind”, both a radio edit and a live version. Wills has an impressive list of accolades under his belt, including winning the 2013 CCMA “Rising Star” Award in addition to consecutive 2013/2014 “Male Artist of the Year” nominations, consecutive 2015/2016 “Songwriter of the Year” nods as well as 2016 nominations for “Single” and “Album of the Year”. He was also crowned “Male Artist of the Year” as well as “Fans Choice” award winner at the 2017 ACMA Awards.

His latest album, 2016 CCMA Award Album of the Year nominee, is a 6-track EP titled Tougher Than Love (release date: March 18, 2016).  This is the 4thalbum in Wills’ vast discography, featuring two top 10 singles, “Down By The River” and “Won’t You Be Mine”.  Exploring his diverse musicality, the EP blends a classic country sound with a modern edge, complemented by his signature emotive, relatable lyrics.   Wills recently released his third single and respective video for the title track “Tougher Than Love” to Canadian country radio this past fall.   As of December 5th, 2016 Wills was the 3rd Top Charting Canadian on the BDS Country charts.  More over, on the 2016 Top 50 Year End Canadian Country Chart, he was #22 with “Won’t You Be Mine.”  That same single was also featured on Now! Country 11.

tIM & The GLORY BOYS

It’s easy to get swept up in the feel-good, hand-raising joy of a Tim & The Glory Boys show. Or laugh along to their well-documented Letterkenny-like hoser escapades. What’s most important though is that the British Columbia-by-way-of-Manitoba boys are making music from — and for — the heart.

Formed in 2013, Tim & The Glory  — Tim Neufeld (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Colin Trask (dobro/percussionist) and Brenton Thorvaldson (banjo/guitar), call their boot-stompin' sound "canoegrass," a nod to both their bluegrass roots and the rustic country Canadiana the band have more recently begun exploring to great success.

This canoegrass sound anchors the band's new self-titled debut full-length album for Sony Canada. The album includes an astounding five songs which have already hit the Top 40 at country radio and have generated almost 30 million streams worldwide. “When You Know You Know” has received gold certification for total listens. The two-time Juno Award winners have also become mainstays at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards, having been nominated in 2021 for Group of the Year and Rising Star, and again in 2022 for Group of the Year.

Kalsey Kulyk

Kalsey's story is so refreshing and special, I thought I would tell it in my own words. I know I have but little of your time, so I will try to make something I've learned over three years rather brief and to the point.

The story really starts in a small town in Northern Canada, within the Saskatchewan Province. The town of Hudson Bay has a population of 1,500, and on July 23rd, 1990, one more female soul was added to that list. Hudson Bay is a beautiful town unto itself, but to this point has never really been known for bestowing its grace upon the rest of the world. However, on this day destiny would serve both Hudson Bay and popular music with fresh new songs and a crystal clear, melodic vision in which to express them.

However, not all obstacles are so easily overcome by mere will. Such was the case in 2008, in Alberta, when a energetic young Kalsey learned of her diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma. Six months of support from her family, intense treatment and tacky wigs led to complete remission (thank God) and a renewed clarity for song writing.

You see, about 40 years ago, I met Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks and knew immediately their music would have an impact on peoples lives someday. No one could've known that two years later, they would accomplish that in the band Fleetwood Mac. In the many years since, I have yearned for another artist that will have the same lifelong impact that both Stevie and Lindsey had. At the same time, I have dreamed of perhaps making one more record that would have the same kind of impact on the world. So rather than succumb to my increasing disability of loss of physical mobility, I surrendered to an 18 year old's desire to fulfill a crazy dream of being a seminal artist in this modern day and age when I really should be bloody retired. Kalsey agreed to start learning basic music fundamentals with me, many of which were taught to me by Lindsey Buckingham many years before.

~ Richard Dashut, Co-producer of Fleetwood Mac.

Mandy McMillan

Born in Edmonton, Alberta and raised in nearby Stony Plain, Mandy McMillan has never known a moment when performing wasn’t her destined path and or when musical storytelling wasn’t her chosen language. With a diverse musical personality that organically mixes a country core with a contagious pop energy, Mandy’s open heart and love for people lights up her lyrics and live shows, allowing her to effortlessly form lasting connections with fans on stage or off.

Mandy was all of five years old when she began her journey into music and started performing at Christmas concerts with her younger siblings. Her passion for singing found its muse when she was asked to sing the Canadian national anthem at the local rodeo in her hometown. In high school, she started her own rock band, which developed her chops as a musician and led to singing competitions across Canada.

The stars aligned for Mandy when she shifted towards country music as a solo artist. In 2008, she won a Country Music Television Canada singing competition by singing “When You Say Nothing At All” by Alison Krauss. This achievement prompted her to follow her ultimate dream by moving to Nashville. In Music City, her career as an artist has propelled her to new heights that have included a self-titled album in 2014, an opportunity to open for Trisha Yearwood, and appearing alongside Kenny Chesney during his performance at the 2014 CMA Awards.
